Here are the uni matchups I was thankful for last week

Bronze: 49ers-Seahawks
The Seahawks are the only team I don't mind wearing the monochrome look. But to medal, they need help from a team with a good road getup. The 49ers fit the bill. That red, white and gold is a good match against the blue, gray and green.

Silver: Chiefs-Chargers
While I like the Chiefs in red pants better, the use of the red socks is a definite improvement over all white. The Chargers great powder blues offset that one complaint. Red and blue are usually great contrasts and this pairing is no different.

Gold: Redskins-Panthers
Interesting story about this game: Apparently, the Washington players wanted to go all white for this game, but were denied that request by team president Bruce Allen. In the article on Washington Post, they listed a bunch of tweets from Redskins fans in support of all white look, many of them saying how much the hate the yellow pants. Personally, I'm with Mr. Allen on this one. The yellow pants made this matchup what it is. If Washington wears white pants, this one doesn't sniff the podium. Maybe I'm biased because my favorite team also wears yellow pants, but I still think this game looked very good.Jake Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02327470327607319029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2168085657783700524.post-51440457208961800952015-11-29T10:11:40.954-08:002015-11-29T10:11:40.954-08:00NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks...NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks Stream HD

NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks Stream HD

NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks Stream HD

NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks Stream HD

NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks Stream HD

NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks Stream HD

NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks Stream HD

NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks Stream HD

NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks Stream HD

NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks Stream HD
fitnesssuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16676777804877808768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2168085657783700524.post-86575497875765194262015-11-29T10:11:24.738-08:002015-11-29T10:11:24.738-08:00NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks...NFL Live : Pittsburgh Steelers vs Seattle Seahawks Stream HDfitnesssuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16676777804877808768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2168085657783700524.post-38583783542188442752015-11-25T23:14:42.054-08:002015-11-25T23:14:42.054-08:00Now that every team has had their bye, the standin...Now that every team has had their bye, the standings are 10 games for everyone. A better showing than Week 10. First the six that failed.

TB-PHI: for the 2nd straight season in Week 11 the Bucs go on the road against an NFC East team and wear all white. So disappointing.

STL-BAL: the wrong team wore white pants, and the one who should have wore black pants. Too bad I can't undo that eyesore.

BUF-NE: at least the Bills wore their blue pants in Foxboro last year.

NYJ-HOU: the first time the Jets ever wear white jerseys against the Texans in the regular season, but they ruin it with green pants. Ruined a chance for the J-E-T-S to actually get on the scoreboard uni standings-wise.

TEN-JAX; one team looked like the Care Bears, and the other looked like black bean queso dip. BARF!!

KC-SD: another week where I remind people here of my NFL uni geek heresy - I'm not fond of the Chargers powder blues. Don't like the Chefs in all white either.

Now the 8 games that made it:

8. DEN-CHI: when both teams have the same base colors, the trim can redeem it. And, they both have more or less the same trim (orange), even though the Broncos version is shinier than the Bears. These matchups in Chicago looked better with the Broncos old helmets and lighter shade of blue. But they both wore their correct stuff.

7. OAK-DET: yes there was quite an abundance of silver, but enough of a contrast to make it nice. I just liked 6 games better.

6. IND-ATL: it's a nice uni matchup, and would be ranked higher most weeks, but there were some good ones this week.

5. SF-SEA: one of my favorite annual uni matchups, but I'm biased towards non-divisional games done correctly.

4. GB-MIN: see SF-SEA above

3. WAS-CAR: the best Washington-Carolina matchup to date gets a bronze medal

2. DAL-MIA: I look at the Dolphins in all white totally different than Tim does. The aqua numerals and pant stripes, with enough coral drizzle, makes it one of my favorite new unis. Plus forcing the Cowboys to go with their blues makes it that much better.

1. CIN-ARI: I was afraid that either one or both of these teams would break out their dark pants. But they stuck with whites, thus they both were done correctly and the colors burst out in just the right way.Kylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04872179907017343614noreply@blogger.com
