If the Browns had used orange socks, it would have been higher. Even so, this is a classic matchup that looked pretty good to my eyes.

On the podium this week we have...

Bronze: Vikings-Raiders
Tim seems to be fan of the Vikings purple pants, while Kevin is most certainly not. Consider me a fan. Something about the mix of black, purple, and silver really speaks to me.

Silver: Saints-Redskins
I usually prefer the Saints wear their gold pants, but against the Redskins I think the black slacks were the right call. It provides more contrast with Washington's red and yellow.

Gold: Lions-Packers
The game itself wasn't pretty but the uniforms sure were. A classic NFC North battle that has always looked pristine when these teams meet in Lambeau.Jake Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02327470327607319029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2168085657783700524.post-4229466444898950832015-11-22T08:41:00.607-08:002015-11-22T08:41:00.607-08:00Correction:

And the Bucs, who just a few weeks ago didn't even register, are now in the top 10. For some reason, through the years NFC teams have done a better job of uniforming than AFC teams. Half of that conference is in the top 10 after 10 weeks.

Cowboys: 13.5
Giants: 12.5
Steelers: 11
49ers: 9.5
Lions: 9
Cardinals: 8.5
Eagles: 7
Saints: 7
Buccaneers: 6.5
Falcons: 6
Chiefs: 5.5
Packers: 5.5
Broncos: 5
Colts: 5
Seahawks: 4
Chargers: 3.5
Ravens: 3.5
Redskins: 3.5
Vikings: 3.5
Bears: 3
Panthers: 3
Patriots: 3
Dolphins: 3
Raiders: 2.5
Rams: 2
Bills: 1.5
Texans: 1.5
Bengals: 1
Browns: .5
Titans: .5
Jaguars: 0
Jets: 0Kylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04872179907017343614noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2168085657783700524.post-11742631759099488902015-11-22T08:07:02.731-08:002015-11-22T08:07:02.731-08:00This week was back to disappointment as only 4 gam...This week was back to disappointment as only 4 games qualified, meaning only 1/4 of the teams moved the standings needle.

The sour cream games:

NO-WAS: the Saints had 3 straight good uniform weeks, including two first place finishes but went black pants to ruin their matchup with Washington

NE-NYG: sorry, I just don't like the Giants white pants. Had they gone with gray it wouldn't have medaled, but at least it wouldn't have been a zero.

MIN-OAK: the Vikings ruined it with purple pants

CHI-STL: to be expected, the Rams came out with their pajama bottoms

CAR-TEN: can't the Titans at least wear white pants?

BUF-NYJ: a color-blind person's nightmare

CLE-PIT: brown pants - blech

HOU-CIN: those two got it right twice before when meeting in Cincy (with the Bengals current unis) but I still don't want them in orange

JAX-BAL: had Jacksonville gone with white pants it may have been top 3

KC-DEN: the Chiefs white on white was Lamar Hunt's favorite uni of theirs. I've never like it. Hated it in the 90s. Still don't like it.

Now the 4 games that passed:

4. MIA-PHI: had this game been at night I would have liked it better, but they both wore the unis I like

3. DET-GB: these two teams never disappoint when meeting in the Badger State. Congrats to the Lions for breaking a streak that lasted nearly a quarter century, even though they couldn't seal it until the very last play

2. ARI-SEA: Those two opponents look better in Seattle at night. When done correctly, red against blue is a winner.

1. DAL-TB: it's been a decade since the Bucs wore WAH in a regular season game played after Veterans Day, but this week's version gives them back-to-back gold medals, and another one for the Cowboys, who, unlike their real season, have been in a lot of good uniform matchups.Kylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04872179907017343614noreply@blogger.com
